Terms of Use
These terms govern your access to and use of the Comneter platform, including the unified inbox, meeting scheduling tools, shared workspaces, and analytics dashboards. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to the conditions below.
1. Scope of the Service
Comneter provides digital communication management tools for team collaboration, including message organization, meeting scheduling, automated response templates, and activity feeds. The service is offered as a hosted platform and does not include any hardware, telecommunication infrastructure, or third-party messaging services themselves. You are responsible for maintaining your own accounts with connected services such as email providers or chat applications.
2. Your Account and Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including messages sent, documents shared, and notification rules configured. If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us promptly at info@comneter.com. You agree not to use the platform to distribute unlawful content, spam, or material that infringes on the rights of others.
3. Acceptable Use and Content
The platform is intended for legitimate business communication and team coordination. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer the software, scrape data at scale, or interfere with other users' workspaces. Content you upload to shared document workspaces remains yours, but you grant Comneter a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you and your team.
4. Data, Privacy, and Analytics
Comneter processes communication metadata and activity data to generate response-time analytics and productivity reports. We do not sell your data to third parties. Detailed information about what we collect and how we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Analytics dashboards reflect activity within your workspace and are intended for internal planning purposes, not as a formal performance evaluation tool.
5. Availability and Modifications
We aim to keep the service available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, network issues, or failures in third-party services may cause temporary downtime. We may update the platform, add or remove features, and revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the activity feed or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comneter is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost data, missed meetings, or reduced productivity. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time by closing your account through the workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if your use poses a security risk, or if required by law. Upon termination, you will lose access to your workspaces and data. We will provide a 30-day export window for your documents and settings, after which data may be permanently deleted.
8. Contact and Legal Notices
Questions about these terms or the service should be directed to info@comneter.com or by mail at 83127 De Bruyn Shores, Ellisfort, WC 9493. Legal notices must be sent in writing to the same address. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
